UKATA Asbestos Awareness Training
Asbestos Awareness training course
UKATA Asbestos Awareness.
It is important it is to get the right level of training and understanding as Asbestos is a class 1 carcinogen and known to cause asbestos related diseases when the tiny minute fibres are inhaled. This is the reason to be properly trained given that the work you undertake, could involve disturbing the fabric of the building, which if asbestos was present, could potentially if breathed in, affect your health later on in life. This course provides an awareness and develops the knowledge as regards to the hazards and risks posed by asbestos containing materials (ACM’s). The course further gives an overview of the legislative measures in place to permit employees to safeguard themselves and others affected by work activities.
